Wearable Launch
Casio has just listed five new additions to its Oceanus lineup, all scheduled for a June 2025 launch in Japan. These watches span the premium Manta S7000 and S400 series, along with a more accessible model in the Classic Line. All five are part of the new "Retro Tone Collection," featuring Oceanus' modern engineering with classic-inspired gradient dials and titanium builds.
Two new models from the flagship Manta S7000 series lead the lineup - the OCW-S7000RA-5AJF and OCW-S7000RA-2AJF - priced at ¥214,500 each. The former features a warm brown gradient dial, while the latter sports a more traditional navy-blue finish. Both retain Oceanus' full spec-sheet: Bluetooth connectivity via the Casio Watches app, solar charging, radio-controlled timekeeping across six global stations (Multiband 6), sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating, and a lightweight titanium case with Zaratsu polishing.
The S400 series also gets two new variants: OCW-S400RA-2AJF (blue dial) and OCW-S400RA-3AJF (green dial), priced at ¥181,500. These are slightly smaller and lighter than their S7000 siblings (46.5mm vs 47.5mm case diameter), but keep most of the same hardware - including solar charging, radio syncing, and a titanium case and band. They omit the chronograph functionality of the S7000 entirely, instead opting for a simpler three-hand layout with a date window.
The fifth model, OCW-T2600RA-8AJF, belongs to the Classic Line and is priced at ¥121,000. It carries a monochrome gray dial with a more subtle gradient effect. While the case is slightly thicker (10.7mm vs 9.5mm on the S7000), it still comes with full solar operation, Multiband 6, and sapphire glass. The main tradeoff is in features: there’s no app connectivity here, and it uses a more traditional quartz movement with solar assist.
All five watches share the "Harmony Matte" dial finish - a soft radial gradient that shifts tones depending on light and angle. Each bezel is ringed with frosted sapphire, and the indices are applied with careful detail to boost legibility.
Quantities are limited, with 1,200 units each of the Manta models and 1,000 of the Classic Line OCW-T2600RA-8AJF. International availability is yet to be confirmed, but expect these to show up on select regional Casio websites and Japanese retailers once sales go live in June.
